The book “Until the Second Command: Untold Truths of Afghan Women’s Resistance for Freedom” by Manizha Ramizy, a women’s rights advocate and university lecturer, was launched at the Writers’ Center of Turkey in Ankara.

The event was attended by university professors, education activists, and researchers from Afghanistan and Turkey, who participated in a panel discussing the state of education and women’s rights in Afghanistan.

Based on a research study conducted through interviews, the book examines the situation of women in Afghanistan and is the result of collaboration with the World Anti-Extremism Network. Its main message emphasizes the call for accountability and joint action by Afghan women and men against human rights violations and the erosion of fundamental human values.

Manizha Ramizy dedicated this book to girls who have been deprived of their right to education and to those who, despite social and political challenges in Afghanistan, actively contribute to their communities and strive for the rights of themselves and others.
