Seven Days – Seven Seen; The Second Seen

Six Days Until Nowruz!

Nowruz, the celebration of nature’s rebirth, is one of the oldest ancient traditions observed in Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, and other regions that celebrate this festival. It is accompanied by unique and beautiful customs, one of the most significant being the Haft-Seen table. Each element of this table symbolizes aspects of life, including renewal, prosperity, health, and love.

With six days remaining until Nowruz, we continue introducing one “Seen” from the Haft-Seen each day.

The Second “Seen”:
Seeb – The Symbol of Health, Vitality, and Beauty

In ancient cultures, the apple (Seeb) is considered a sacred fruit, symbolizing health, vitality, and protection from harm. Some believe that the bright red apple represents friendship and emotional bonds between individuals. Its presence on the Haft-Seen table expresses the wish for a year filled with well-being, joy, and peace.
