Lina Haider, Afghan girl, Graduates High School at Age 11

An Afghan girl named Lina Haider has graduated from 12th grade in Germany at the age of just 11.
According to available information, Lina is an 11-year-old Afghan girl who successfully completed Germany’s 12-year secondary education program in just six years, earning her high school diploma from a school in the city of Bonn.
Thanks to her talent, dedication, and strong family support, Lina has gained international recognition as an extraordinary student.
Her story comes at a time when, under Taliban rule, all formal education for girls in Afghanistan has been banned, depriving millions of Afghan girls of their basic rights.
Afghan girls continue to emphasize that, if given the same educational opportunities as boys, they are capable of competing globally with youth from around the world in every field.
They are calling on the Taliban to lift the bans on girls’ education and to pave the way for national progress by nurturing the talents of the new generation.
Meanwhile, the United Nations General Assembly, in a recent resolution on Afghanistan, has once again called on the Taliban to respect the rights of women and girls in the country.
